Gym/Student Union

The contractors have only two more columns to install on the gymnasium. They have installed the cross sections that hold roof metal as they installed the trusses and columns, so they are not very far away from finishing the roof. Also, they are planning on starting the columns on the student union section today. The pictures show the gym and student union areas.

Red Iron on Gymnasium

The contractors began yesterday erecting the red iron on the gymnasium part of the building. The picture shows part of the building in the background. The part you see in the background will eventually extend on down and connect to the gymnasium. All of the building will be under one roof and when students arrive in the morning, they won't have to go outside in the heat or cold for classes or lunch. Also, the building has been designed with the latest technology and physical layout to maximize student safety. It has a state of the art security system both internally and externally and computer controlled locks and doors. In additon, it has a built in storm shelter to accomodate all the students and employees.

Roof metal and Red Iron

The roof metal has been installed on the math and science section and the installation of the red iron on the gym should begin any day. The electricians and plumbers are on the job every day and have made some great progress. If the weather holds, the contractors will pour the slab on the student union section in a few days.
