Color Selections

The picture shows Retha Wyatt Lamb as she selects the colors for the interior part of the building along with help from Toni Lawrence and Mike Caine. We appreciate Mrs. Lamb very much for her input on the interior design of the building.

Classrooms/Gym/Cafetorium

The workers have been digging the footers for the last remaining classroom section of the building. Also, they have poured most of the cafetorium and they have installed the block walls in the bleacher/storm shelter area of the gym. The pictures show the footer, gym seating area, and the cafetorium slab.

Science Labs

The new building will have two science labs along with a regular science classroom for each lab. The labs will be fully equipped with the latest equipment and supplies. Student safety has been incorporated into every phase of the science lab part of the building. The picture shows one of the science labs. Also, the school board was given a tour of the building last night after the board meeting by Mike Caine, Superintendent of the construction site.

Gymnasium Walls

The masonry contractor began work today on the walls inside the gymnasium. The pictures show the blocks being laid on the lower level.

Landscape

The landscape part of the project has begun in the islands of the parking lot and around the perimeter. They are installing the underground irrigation system and are installing plants. The pictures show the Crepe Myrtles as they are being planted and the irrigation system as it is being installed.

Student Union

Modern Builders have begun to install the red iron on the student union. The pictures show the progress.
