Ground Breaking Ceremony
The ground breaking will be conducted on the new building site on May 2, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will include a few brief words from Senator Paul Miller, Representative Eddie Cooper, County Judge Rayburn Finley, Sheriff Tate Lawrence, Mayor Mike Cone and Ozarka President, Dr. Dusty Johnston. The main focus of the day is the students and the future of the District. The ceremony will conclude with students from the Melbourne and Mount Pleasant campuses shoveling the first dirt that is moved on the new site. It would be best to enter the property by way of the Boeing driveway and continue on past the water tower. Everyone is invited to attend.
