Curbs Installed

John Brown and Sons Contruction have the sub-contract to install almost 2 miles of curbs around the roads and parking lot. They also have the contract to install the concrete on the building. Both of these pictures are views of the curbs being installed at the first intersection between the road and parking lot as you enter from the LaCrosse Road. The parking lot and building would be to the right and the football/soccer/track field would be to the left.

Aerial View

The picuture shows an aerial view of the building area. The gray color is the base for the parking lot and roads. The building will be located to the lower right by the parking lot and road as you view the picture. Notice the baseball fields and fair grounds in the in the upper right. Also, you can see the golf course in the upper left part of the picture. Click on the photos for an enlarged view.

Electricians and Contractor Begin Work

Cushman Electric has begun work on installing the electrical system that will power the lights in the parking lot. There are 13 lighted islands in the parking lot and the electrical system must be installed before the asphalt is in place. The work on the base for the asphalt is expected to begin on Wednesday and the asphalt for the parking lot and one of the entry roads will be put down shortly after the base is in place. Also, the contractor has been on site preparing for the first initial phase before the concrete work begins on the building.
